In 2012 Florida voters will have the opportunity to make one of the most important choices for elected office. For those of you who do not know, the Sheriff is the most powerful elected official in any County and all 67 County Sheriffs in Florida will be up for re-election in 2012.
County Sheriff’s have the authority to stop the Federal Government from imposing unconstitutional law in their Counties. For example if the Feds came into your county and asked the Sheriff to collect everyone’s guns, (a direct violation of the 2nd Amendment to the U.S. Constitution) the Sheriff’s would have two choices.
- Choice #1: Obey the order given by the Feds.
- Choice #2: Uphold the sacred oath that they took to uphold and defend the U. S. Constitution and their State’s Constitution.
Do you know for a fact what the Sheriff of your county would do?
This is a good opportunity to find out. Every Sheriff should be required to read the U.S. Constitution and state in writing to the citizens of their county that if given an unconstitutional order by the Federal Government that they would stand their ground and uphold and defend the U.S. Constitution and their State’s sovereignty.
Here are two examples of Constitutional Sheriffs.
Tony DeMeo of Nye County Nevada
Sheriff Richard Mack
Sheriff Mack now travels all over America educating citizens about the proper role of the County Sheriff and State’s Rights.
Before you vote for the next Sheriff of your county make sure you know where he/she stands on following orders or upholding the U.S. and State Constitutions. THIS IS CRITICAL!
